Watermelon Sandwich, HIGH - No really, I found watermelon sandwiches

I actually tried this on my friends' live stream, but it's so stinking cute I wanted to give it a full post.

Look at this! Watermelon bread-sandwiches?! How could I resist?

Every Little Thing, Gonna be Alright - Everything Brioche Bagels

Everything Brioche Bagels
- Aldi

Is there anything more comforting than a toasty bagel filled with cheese, egg, and bacon (my breakfast meat of choice) on a cold winter morning? Especially after shoveling snow. Just thinking about it makes me feel warm and cozy.

While the east coast NJ/NY/PA area has always taken their bagels quite seriously, it seems like other food-stuffs have taken notice and bagels, or more specifically "everything," has become an American obsession.

In the past year we've had everything bagel seasoning in several flavor variations from tons of different brands (including Aldi), everything bagel potato chips, and even everything bagel ice cream!

Personally I prefer onion bagels, you get similar flavor but less stuff all up in your teeth, but I get it. The mixture of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried onions, dried garlic, and sea salt can amp up any savory breakfast sandwich combo, but we all know what it tastes like. So, when I spotted a brioche version at Aldi I thought I would see if changing the base would make a huge difference.

Blueberry Pancake Swirl Bread - Walmart

Blueberry Pancake Swirl Bread - Walmart
Limited Edition breads usually don't interest me.

Every single month Thomas's releases something seasonal, and even though they all sound yummy, I usually pass them by. Until now. When I was looking for some new Twinkies this limited edition flavor caught my eye. My boyfriend loves blueberries, and his daughter loves French toast, so this was too perfect a product to pass up.

Pretzel Buns - Aldi - Cherry Hill, NJ

Pretzel Buns - Aldi - Cherry Hill, NJ
Man, what a crazy busy weekend. I got so much done, but I didn't really rest or sleep properly, so I'm going back to work (in a few hours) more tired than when I left. I don't have time to finish formatting my original review for tonight, so I thought I'd take some time to mention something I've been eating the last few weeks.

This isn't so much an individual item review as it is an ingredient, but it's something I've been enjoying, so I figured it was post-worthy.

Pumpkin Spice Swirl Bread- Wegman's: Cherry Hill, NJ

Pumpkin Spice Swirl Bread- Wegman's: Cherry Hill, NJ
This item isn't new, I definitely saw it last fall, but I never got around to buying or reviewing it. I grabbed a bag this year hoping that it would be good enough to make pumpkin bread pudding, so let's open this up and see if this bread was worth the buy.

Crusty Bread - Pinterest Recipe Review

Crusty Bread -  Pinterest Recipe Review : The Pin The Recipe
I was running low on bread, so I decided to try out one of the recipes I found on Pinterest.
Although the author uses this as a base recipe for fancy flavored breads, I figured I should make a plain loaf first. The results? Delicious!

The outside of the bread is very crusty, while the inside is still fluffy and soft. It toasts beautifully too. I used this to make some bruschetta, which turned out delicious, but it’s also a great dipping bread. (We had some garlic and herb infused olive oil on hand.)

This recipe is super easy and it requires ingredients that are probably in your pantry already. The only possible downside is that it takes a while for the bread to rise (12 hours, or overnight), so you need to plan ahead, and the loaf is a bit small. You might have to double the recipe to get a more sandwich-friendly sized loaf, but that is really easy to do.
I love everything about this bread recipe. It was simple, delicious, and the finished loaf looks like a masterpiece. This recipe is a keeper, and I highly recommend it.

Homemade Cheesy Garlic Bread Sticks

Homemade Cheesy Garlic Bread Sticks
Okay, I fell in love with the pizza dough recipe I reviewed yesterday, so I made another batch. It was just so delicious AND easy! I may have a pizza addiction. (And by “may,” I mean I totally do. And by “problem,” I mean don’t judge me.)

I used the same pizza dough recipe to make the base of these garlic sticks.  Lauren, the original recipe writer, also has a cheesy garlic stick recipe, but I kind of made my own so I could use up more stuff I had in the fridge.
