At a glance this might not look like a #tbt post, but...look at the best by date. (No wait, don't look! Let's pretend we never saw that.) There's no use denying it, these are from last fall! I somewhat feel ashamed and embarrassed that it took me this long to get around to these cookies, but I'm also kind of impressed that I dug them out of my stash just in time for them to return to the shelves. I mean, they're just cookies. They can't be bad yet, right? I guess we'll find out!

Banana Flavored Chocolate Milano Cookies - Target
Banana Flavored Chocolate Milano Cookies - Target
After eating flop after flop you'd think I'd learn...but here we are again. What can I say? The allure of a banana cookie was too strong for me to resist. Looking at my older reviews, I don't think I've had any luck with these limited edition Pepperidge Farm cookies. They always look gorgeous, but they taste...like fancy cardboard. (Or in the case of the Cinnamon Bun cookies I reviewed on my Instagram account..burning plastic cream cheese.) Maybe this will be it, the one cookie to rule them all, after all it has banana flavoring. How can that go wrong?

Pumpkin Spice Swirl Bread Pudding- Recipe
Even though the Pumpkin Swirl Bread from Pepperidge Farm was a lot thinner than I expected, I decided to go ahead and try to make bread pudding with it any way. Thankfully, it still turned out pretty good!

Pepperidge Farm Banana Nut Cookies - Target: Cherry Hill, NJ
I've said this before, but The Pumpkining is upon us! Which means that my 2014 Pumpkin Gallery will be starting up very soon. Those of you who have followed this blog (or the Sometimes Foodie tumblr) for a while, know that I do this every fall. So far I have two galleries full of pumpkin items from 2012 and 2013. (With 53 different pumpkin items reviewed!) To prepare myself for the onslaught of pumpkin and fall themed foods headed my way, I am working my way through my current foodie stash, so today I'm going to finally try these cookies that have been sitting in my "to review" pile for about a month. (First world food blogger/hoarder problems.)

Blueberry Cobbler Pepperidge Farm Cookies - Walmart: Berlin, NJ
Here's another item I picked up during my epic Walmart search for the elusive Fruit Punch Oreos. (Which I eventually found.) I had seen photos of this new flavor posted on a few food blogs, but I was unimpressed by the Pumpkin Cheesecake variety, so I didn't plan on checking out the rest of the dessert line. Although I didn't intend to buy them, I was getting a bit frustrated after going to so many Walmarts and leaving empty handed that I figured I'd buy something to review to make the trip worth it.
Let's hope that these Blueberry Cobbler Cookies come through!

Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies - Target - Cherry Hill, NJ
Pepperidge Farm Pumpkin Cheesecake Cookies - Target - Cherry Hill, NJ
I just realized, a lot of my 2013 pumpkin haul came from Target. Last year I had a ton of Aldi stuff, so I guess it's Target's time to shine.
I am not a big fan of pre-made baked goods. I feel like a lot of them taste the same and the only Pepperidge farm product I occasional buy is the Gingerbread. (Those cookies are so light and crispy! How do they do it?) I wanted new pumpkin items this year, ones that I hadn't reviewed before, and this just happened to be out on the shelves.
