Fall is upon us, which means pumpkin and pumpkin-spiced everything is almost here! (I am so excited. I already have 5 new things to review.)

Tomorrow is out last day of pumpkin! After that, I’ll be posting some Fall/Halloween treats. For now, here are some pumpkin pancakes.

The box is a nice size and color, I can easily find it in my cabinet, but the overall design feels dated. That isn’t a bad thing, but the box feels like it is an older products (and I know it isn’t.)

I bought the same pancake mix last year, and followed the directions on the back of the box to make them. They weren’t very pumpkin-y at all. So when I bought the mix this year I tried to experiment.

Pumpkin spiced marshmallows are an ingredient in a lot of the holiday recipes I have been seeing on pinterest. (Personally I plan of roasting some up with sweet potatoes, or make pumpkin spiced rice crispy treats with them.)

Baker’s Corner is an Aldi baking goods brand, I have used their mixes and baking ingredients in the past and I have always been very happy with the results. So I had high hopes for their marshmallows.

The bag is a typical marshmallow bag, and like most marshmallows, there is a recipe for crispy rice bars on the back. Nothing spectacular that I would leave out on display, but there is no doubt that the bag serves it’s purpose. Now the marshmallows are nice round pumpkin shapes. Some are more shaped than others, but they are quite cute to look at.

My boyfriend enjoys soft chewy cookies and pumpkin, so this HAD to make it’s way into my cart.

The box is very simple, and almost no frills. Not terrible, but nothing I would leave out on display. Since the cookies are soft, they are packaged in a silver bag and tray inside the box to maintain freshness. Which is a very good thing, because the icing is so soft that if they were packaged loose, it’d make a HUGE mess.

This was something that I have never thought to add pumpkin pie spices to. Pizzelles! This Italian treat has been a staple in my home for generations. Now that I have seen this, I’ll be making a few batches of my own later this year.

We’re almost at the end of my pumpkin stash!

I've had pumpkin based pasta before, like gnocchi, but never ravioli. I had assumed these were a savory because they were in the frozen entree aisle, but after reading the bag I wasn’t sure if these were a sweet or savory item. The bag has a recipe on the back for a brown sugar pecan sauce to serve them with, so I think this might be on the sweet side.

The picture on the bag is….well…gross. I am sorry, but that sauce on top looks disgusting! I think it is supposed to be the suggested brown sugar pecan topping.

Time for some tipsy-pumpkin-action.

I had seen this around, and I wanted to pick it up…but I had been burned by flavored vodkas before. Those Wave vodkas I reviewed…were honestly terrible and I am STILL stuck with them. So I held off on buying this one until I could talk to a bartender.

One of the guys at The Black Sheep in Philadelphia told me that he went through a whole bottle the night before at a private party! That was all the push I needed.

I have been craving some good white chocolate, so I grabbed this seasonal item to add to my pumpkin haul. (Should this be pumpkin month?)

The box is a bit unique. It isn’t rectangular, it's more of a rhombus, and I really like that. When stacked, the packages reminded me of a bee hive. On the front of the box you can see an image of the product, cinnamon sticks and a tiny pumpkin. (I love when they include a nice photo on the box.) The overall design is rather nice. Aldi’s no-frills brand is getting quite frilly!

We all knew it was only a matter of time until I got to pumpkin spiced coffee. We see it everywhere! Every single brand has it’s own version of this seasonal favorite. Previously, the only pumpkin beverage I would drink was Panera’s pumpkin spice latte, but that was because I worked there and I loved everything Panera made ever. Let’s see if this coffee can satisfy my craving.

I was buying groceries when this little bottle caught my eye. I have had this brand before and they make an AMAZING minty milk that tastes like melted ice cream. So I was really excited that they decided to make a pumpkin version. Is this better than the Aldi version?

That’s right! Pumpkin. Spice. Milk. This is something I had never seen before! I have seen plenty of pumpkin spiced coffee creamers, but this is meant to be a beverage on it’s own!

The carton is a step above no frills, three of the sides are the same and one side has the nutritional information. Once I saw the amount of calories per serving I knew….this is a pumpkin version of eggnog!

My sister is a BIG fan of Smoothie King. She and her friend Lauren liked it so much I decided to check it out. During the fall season they have a pumpkin smoothie that is VERY popular. I had to get it for review. 

The container is…ugly. It is made of styrofoam so it is really bad for the environment. Which makes me sad because I enjoy this business and their products. I just wish their packaging was different or more eco friendly.  

The smoothie doesn’t really smell like much, but most frozen drinks don’t. I can smell a yogurt-y tang to this smoothie, but I am not really sure what it is made with. I couldn’t find any nutritional information for it on the net! (Which was really odd.)
It tastes like pumpkin pie filling blended up with vanilla frozen yogurt. You can really taste the pumpkin pie flavor, which is delicious, but very rich. It doesn’t help that their smallest size is a 20oz! That is HUGE for me. I usually try and order kid-sized items to help limit calories…but Smoothie King only offers certain flavors in a child-size.
I couldn’t finish the smoothie so I had to put it in my freezer to finish tomorrow. Not that this is a bad thing, I get 2 servings of smoothie for 2 days. Win-win.

On a pumpkin-y scale of 1-5 (5 being extremely pumpkin-y) I would rate this a 4.

Time for a little pumpkin-pick-me-up! I have had this brand of iced coffee from Aldi before, and I really enjoyed the vanilla flavor. Would pumpkin be as good?
The bottle is very similar to the bottled Starbucks frappuccinos, but not quite the same shape. I imagine these bottles, with their wide mouths, could work for a lot of craft projects.

Now, I have had the popular Edy’s pumpkin ice cream before, and it IS delicious, but very rich. If you like Coldstone’s ice cream you’d love Edy’s version of pumpkin. Personally, it was too much for me. I was hoping this version from Aldi would be a little lighter.
