Swim with the Fishes - Tropical Mini Swedish Fish

Swedish Fish Mini Tropical - Dollar Tree

No cool story or anything behind this buy. I just like Swedish Fish. I grew up eating classic red, and so far I have had nothing but good things to say about their new and innovative products. I've tried their candy canes, Trident chewing gum, Rita's water ice flavor, and more recently their Heads and Tails. I purposefully avoided known-duds, like the Swedish Fish Oreos, and overall I have been happy with the quality of their new releases.

So when I spotted this at Dollar Tree, I figured, why not?

Inside we have four different colors/flavors, and my only pet peeve so far is that two of them are super generic.

Moving Dum-Dums out of the foodie-friend-zone & Limited Edition Hawaiian Punch Review

Limited Edition Hawaiian Punch Dum-Dums
- Dollar Tree

We take Dum-Dums for granted. They are affordable, offer tons of variety, and they don't just play it safe, they have seasonal/limited edition flavors, like pizza, gingerbread, funnel cake, bacon, and banana split. Plus their long standing "mystery" flavor  is a master class in marketing and preventing food waste. (Turn those lemons into lemonade-lollipops.) Overall, a really solid candy, but no one talks about them.

Tropical Sour Patch Kids - Walmart

Tropical Sour Patch Kids - Walmart
Look out guys, they're are some new kids on the block! Sour Patch Kids came out with a new mix. Will it be just as good as the original version? Or is it a flop? We shall see!

Mike & Ike Sweet Paradise (Limited Edition) - Shop Rite: Berlin, NJ

Mike & Ike Sweet Paradise (Limited Edition)  - Shop Rite: Berlin, NJ
This Shop Rite seems to be trapped in a magical time warp of some kind. I found limited edition products well after their release dates, like this Jelly Bean chewing gum, and I've also seen products that I've never heard any other food blogger mention. Like these "Special Limited Edition" Sweet Paradise Mike and Ikes. I haven't seen this special edition flavor listed or reviewed on any other food sites. Is this new? Is it super old? I guess I'll open the box and find out.

Hello Kitty Halloween Mix (Jelly Belly) - gift

Hello Kitty Halloween Mix (Jelly Belly) - gift
If Hello Kitty is actually a little girl, does that mean she's being a cat for Halloween?

Here's another Halloween themed treat, although I'm pretty sure all four of the flavors featured in this mix are available year round, the packaging and color/flavor combination is Halloween exclusive, so I figured it was worth a post.
