After writing a few massive posts I wanted to take it easy with a quickie soda review.
Wild Cherry and Cream Pepsi sounds perfect for summer. I originally thought this was going to be a limited edition flavor, similar to Dr. Pepper's Coconut Creme💖, but it turns out this is a permanent addition to their line-up. (Although Coke said the same thing about Spiced and then it bit the dust after less than a year, so only time will tell.)
Opened, it has the normal carbonated cola aroma, but with a heavy dose of vanilla. Very creamy, but not very fruity. I don't detect any cherry.Taking a sip, it's delivering exactly what it promised. This tastes like Pepsi, vanilla creme, and a splash of maraschino cherry juice. I like it, it's reminiscent of soda fountains and ice cream shops, and great for a sweet summer treat, but this is a little too dessert-like for my normal sipping.
I really do like this, but more like a summer dessert. Instead of a popsicle, having an ice cold one of these on a humid day sounds pretty damn good. 4.5/5 (wish it was a little more cherry forward, but it's damn good.)
