Happy Holidays! It's been a really long time since I've done a Pinterest recipe review, I think my last one was back in April, but I'd like to start doing them a bit more often.
My annual holiday cookie party/swap was this weekend, and we had a really great turn out! I made my gingerbread bats, like I do every year, and I picked another random cookie recipe from my cookie board to try out, this time I went with these festive little Pistachio Cherry Meltaways.

Cookie Swap 3 : The Return of the Crumb
I hosted my annual cookie swap last week! It's year three and the cookies just keep getting better and better. As usual I made my gingerbread bats (and x-mas trees for those who don't want to explain bats at their Christmas party), and my friends and family each brought their own cookies and recipes.
I'm going to try a little something new this year, by photographing and posting links to all the recipes made this year. I thought this might be an easy way to record each year's recipes, so here we go....

Holiday Cookies 2011 - Last Year’s Cookie Swap
Holiday Cookies 2011 - Last Year’s Cookie Swap
Here are even more cookies from the Cookie Swap I hosted last year.
Never heard of a cookie swap? You make 1 or 2 types of cookies (equaling 6 dozen), and you can swap a half-dozen or dozen cookies for another type of cookies from another person. Sometimes people give out prizes for best cookie, ugliest holiday sweater, or other silly things.
Top-to-bottom (left -> right): Oatmeal, gingerbread bats, raspberry cookies with raspberry jam filling, snicker-doodles, anise biscotti, pizzelles.
Which ones look the yummiest?

Holiday Cookies 2011 - Last Year’s Cookie Swap
Holiday Cookies 2011 - Last Year’s Cookie Swap
Last year I hosted my first ever cookie swap, and I’ll be doing it again this year.
My party is just about eating yummy cookies and hanging out with great friends. Do any of you participate in cookie swaps during the holiday season?
