Because I'm a hamster-human hybrid, and a heartbeat away from being on a special food-themed episode of Hoarders, I'm still finding random food items squirreled away in my moving boxes. I think these came out last year? Maybe last spring? I don't really remember when I bought them, but thanks to the Target exclusive logo at the very top, I do know WHERE I bought them. So, that's something. 

Limited Edition Candy Corn is not an avenue I really specialize in. I'm no candy corn hater, I dig the classics, but a lot of the specialty limited edition stuff just doesn't work for me. Especially not in a full-sized bag. If they came in fruit-snack-sized pouches I'd try a lot more of them, but I've thrown way too much money, and stale nibbled on candy corn, in the trash to continue taking risks on one-off flavors just for reviewing purposes. 

Yet, for some reason, I still bought this one? Maybe the allure of brunch was just too much for me to ignore. Anyway, past me bought it, and now present me (or not-as-past me, depending on when you read this review) is gonna eat it.

Torn between breakfast and dessert? Why not both?

Even though I visit Aldi twice a week and thumb through their circulars like a budget-obsessed-food-junkie (which I am), I still find new and unknown products every grocery trip! Like these filled waffles.

I spotted these in the freezer section, and they came in two flavors: chocolate and cherry. I was most excited for the cherry, since I'm a fruit-topped-waffle fan, but if any of you are Aldi shoppers like me, you know that if you don't buy something when you first see it, you're going to miss out. (One of the few issues I have with Aldi is their limited specialty stock.) So, rather than have lingering foodie regret, I grabbed a box of each.

First up, we have the (possibly) fudge-filled chocolate version!

Along with massive amounts of junk food I share on the blog, I also like to cook and bake, so here's what I made on Sunday for my boyfriend and I. (He's vegetarian, so a lot of the food I've been eating/cooking lately is meatless, since I personally feel uncomfortable eating meat when we're together, but rest assured, I still love bacon and buffalo wings. I'm an omnivore with strong lean to the veggie side.)

Some #whitepizza for lunch/dinner. The crust was store bought, because I was being lazy, but I made the cheese sauce from scratch and added some spinach and thinly sliced tomatoes. Not too shabby! #Sometimesfoodie #pizza #dinner

Chris B. over on Facebook nailed it! The photo I posted the other day was chicken and waffles! Well, not really, but it's chicken & waffle flavored, so that totally counts.

I posted this item on Instagram nearly a month ago, and I thought it was pretty interesting, but I didn't buy it. After a few more grocery runs I saw the supply dwindling, so I figured I better give these a try before they sold out. (If they're selling they must be good, right? I'm a sheeple.)

I really hope these taste good, because in order to try them, I had to commit to a box of 36 waffles. I could be wrong, but I think these were exclusive to wholesale clubs like Sam's and BJ's. I couldn't find anything smaller, have any of you seen these in a more manageable size?

These waffles were posted on The Impulsive Buy's Spotted on the Shelves about a month ago, and I was curious, what makes these different from any other frozen blueberry waffle on the market? Curiosity, and food blogging, got the best of me, and I picked up a box.
