Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

I know I slacked off on posts again, but I have a (depressing) reason why. My car was totaled on my way home from work Wednesday evening, right before the holiday, and I've been dealing with all of the legal complications.

If you follow my Instagram, you've already seen the photo of my car and my post explaining what happened. No need to worry, I'm okay and no one in the accident was seriously injured.

My muscles are sore, but look at my poor car. (She was named Misty. RIP Misty.) I've been busy doing all the fun legal stuff that comes with having your car smashed. I've already been to see a chiropractor, I have a script to get x-rays (just in case), called all the insurance companies involved, got a copy of the police report, my mother drove over and got a copy of my car's release paperwork for the other party's insurance to look it over and assess everything, and now I just need to wait for the holidays to be over for all the legal-wheels to start turning and help me get my life back together. I need to get a rent a car or something to get to work on Monday, and start looking for a used car to replace mine so I can get to my day job, which is an hour away from my home, after the rental car stuff ends.

I'm trying to keep a positive outlook, but let's be honest. This sucks! I'm trying to get some reviews together tonight and queue things up so things can posts normally while I deal with this fiasco, so NEW POSTS ARE ON THE WAY~!

Have a lovely holiday and stay safe!

  1. I am so sorry! I am glad you are ok! I had something similar happen last Monday - texting teen not paying attention. My car is also totaled (not a lot of damage....just that it wasn't worth that much and its not worth fixing). I hope you can get a rental soon and everything works out quickly (I was able to get a rental the same day as the accident, thank goodness). Its not fun having to worry about buying a car(!!!) during the holidays/ end of year.
