Fit and Active Pumpkin Pie Yogurt - Aldi : Medford, NJ
I am collecting all of my pumpkin posts from last year
and re-posting them here on Blogger to make a comprehensive collection.
Here is the original Tumblr post.
As a foodie nerd, I saw another user post on Tumblr that Aldi was getting TONS of pumpkin stuff this week. So, I swooped in and got EVERYTHING. (If you follow my facebook account you can see my haul photo.)
Pumpkin Week has turned into Pumpkin Month.
Let's get right into the non-fat pumpkin pie yogurt review!~
The container is typical for yogurt, plastic container with a
foil top. The art on the front is a cute little slice of pumpkin pie
and a pumpkin, but overall this isn’t too fancy. (I might hold on to these cups, but I typically hold on to yogurt cups to use in my preschool art projects.)
Peeling the foil back, the product looks like vanilla yogurt with pumpkin pie spices mixed in.
The smell is sweet and tangy from the yogurt, but the pumpkin pie smell is barely apparent.
This was the first thing I ate this morning, and I actually
thought the flavor was rather nice. It is definitely a vanilla yogurt
with pumpkin spices in it. It was nice, but I think you could just mix
this up in your own kitchen. I added some of the Pumpkin Spice Granola
to it, and it made a nice little breakfast for fall.
On a pumpkin-y scale of 1-5 (
5 being extremely pumpkin-y) I would rate this a .5
(When mixed with the granola, 1)
