Frozen Yogurt - Kiwi Yogurt : Cherry Hill, NJ
The weather is finally getting nicer here in Jersey! To celebrate, my sister and I stopped to get some frozen yogurt. (We both suffer from a fro yo addiction, so I have actually posted yogurt from Kiwi before, see that post HERE. Or see more of my fro yo posts HERE.)
I got 3 flavors of yogurt:
And 2 Toppings:
- Salted Caramel Pretzel
- Vanilla Latte
- Mint
- Mini Dark Chocolate Chips
- Mochi
Salted Caramel Pretzel was actually a flavor I reviewed last year. At the time I loved it, it was sweet, salty, and had hints of caramel. This time it was different. It had more of a buttered popcorn flavor which I didn’t like at all. I was a bit disappointed.
Vanilla Latte is actually a swirled/mixed flavor. (It is vanilla yogurt twisted with iced coffee yogurt.) The coffee yogurt wasn’t very sweet, it tasted like frozen coffee with soy milk, which mixed nicely with the creamy, vanilla. The coffee flavoring isn’t very strong, it’s more of a light and refreshing flavor, so I enjoyed quite a bit.
Mint was my favorite of the three. The flavor wasn’t a strong herbal-mint, more like a mild mint iced milk, and it blended well with the other flavors in my cup.
Although the flavors were a bit lack-luster on their own, when mixed together they were really yummy. The three flavors combined nicely and created a fancy iced coffee frozen yogurt. It was like a mix of a caramel latte with a touch of mint.
At first I was a bit disappointed that the salted caramel pretzel was a bit off, but everything worked out in the end and it tasted great when mixed together. (Plus mochi and dark chocolate can make ANYTHING better.)
