Marukawa Gum - ??? : Chinatown, Philadelphia, PA  

Now that I know that these packets contain Marukawa gum, not hard candies, I am very excited to try the other flavors.

I have already reviewed the strawberry, melon, and grape flavors, which were all delicious.

I love citrus flavored gum, but it doesn't seem very popular. Other than pink lemonade Bubblicious, and Dessert Delights Lemon Square, I haven't seen any other lemon flavored gums in America. (If you know of any, please send me a message.) I was a fan of the lemon square gum, second only to key lime pie, so I am really looking forward to this flavor.

Again, the gum starts out strong but it quickly fades away. There is a delightfully authentic lemonade flavor which fades into a mild lemon sorbet and then the flavoring completely disappears. After a minute or two you are left with a mildly sweet, soft, bubblegum.

Marukawa flavors are delicious and refreshing. I absolutely love them, and I will keep buying them in the future, but I wish the flavor lasted longer.  (Also they need to make a lime flavored gum! I'd buy that in a heartbeat.)
