Mì Lẩu Thái (Instant Ramen) - Asian Food Market : Cherry Hill, NJ

Mì Lẩu Thái (Instant Ramen) - Asian Food Market : Cherry Hill, NJ
I was such a fan of the (imitation) chicken flavor, that I bought another package of Mì Lẩu Thái instant ramen. This time I have the seafood flavor variety.
The packaging is bright and eye catching, just like the other flavor. I love the photo on the front. Even though I know my ramen won’t look anything like that…it makes the soup look spicy and delicious.
Like the last flavor, there were four different packets to add to my noodles. I love this! It makes me feel like I’m not a lazy bum. I feel more involved in the flavoring process. (Plus, if I wanted, I could control the different spice levels without losing out on delicious dried veggies.)
Once fully cooked, the ramen broth has an onion-y smell with a hint of imitation crab. This time there is no hint of citrus, like with the chicken flavored one, instead I can smell onion soup mix.
The broth is very rich and has a nice seafood flavor. I can taste onion, imitation crab meat, dried shrimp, and something else I can’t quite place. The tastes very similar to onion soup mix here in the states (which I use it all the time to make dip). I easily ate the whole bowl!
I think this is (so far) the best instant ramen I have ever had. Normally I stick to chicken flavored ramen, but this seafood version has won me over. Definitely give this one a try.
