Pepsi BIG Cola

I don't know what this is.

I bought it because it looked cool, and I like Pepsi, but I really don't understand what's going on here. Why, "BIG?"

Using a translator, the text says this is "fresh cola spice" flavored, but isn't that what normal Pepsi tastes like? It also states that they used a non-heat based bottling system to give it the "highest level of exhilaration." But what does that mean? I'm guessing more carbonation?

Originally I assumed this had more caffeine than usual, but now I don't think that's the case either. I'll just have to drink it and see.

When opened, the aroma confirms that this isn't normal Pepsi cola. This smells a bit more botanical, and definitely spiced. It's giving me flashbacks to every "fancy" soda I've ever reviewed as well as the more recent Cherry Cola Olipop that nearly landed me in urgent care. Not off to a great start.

Taking a sip, it's far more drinkable than I expected. This "Big" soda has a thinner, less syrupy, consistency than the canned American Pepsi I had with my dinner tonight, and it's also less carbonated. Flavor-wise, "fresh cola spice," is accurate. There is a warm spice blend in the mix that feels rather cozy for fall/winter, but I can't quite put my finger on which spices I am tasting in this blend. Overall, this is a thinner, more water-like, and spiced version of classic Pepsi. Unfortunately, I don't think any of those distinctions make it superior to the normal version.

This was a fun experiment, and it's leaps and bounds better than the cursed Olipop I drank last month, but I'll be sticking to my tried-and-true normal-sized Pepsi.
