Snackbusters: Stuff I really liked, but never got around to writing up 

Long story short, I went to the beach for the day and got food poisoning, or I just ate something that just didn't agree with me. Either way, I don't have it in me to eat anything (and even if I did I might not be able to keep it down.) I didn't want to mess up my posting streak, so here we are!

My normal posting process is, I buy stuff, I set aside time to photograph it, I edit the photos, and write down my thoughts, and then turn I turn that into a full post. Usually I eat the item as I write the full post to keep everything fresh, both food-wise and thought-wise. 

These two items never got to the full post stage...because I ate them all. Oops. Both items are definitely things I would repurchase, so I wanted to give them a shout-out regardless, and use the photos I took, so, here we are!

I haven't reviewed a jerky product since that uncured Srircha Bacon version from Trader Joe's in May of 2015! Over a year without jerky, can you believe it? 

My eating preferences have always leaned more towards the veggie side, but even though I'm dating a vegetarian, I'm still an omnivore who LOVES chicken wings, bacon, and jerky. A while ago Aldi had these fancy flavored jerky bags in their Special Buy section and since I was craving jerky, I bought all three bags. Time to break my year-long jerky-drought with some "Artisan" Fusion Jerky!

I'm back again with another stash busting post, this time I have three different flavors of Brownie Brittle, and they're all Organic! Will being organic make it less addicting and flavorful than normal Brownie Brittle? Can healthier junkfood still taste good? Time to find out! 

The packaging for all three bags in the same, so there's not much ground for me to cover there, so I'm going to focus on taste for this trio of crispy crunchy brownie goodness.

This really has absolutely nothing to do with the upcoming Ghostbusters movie. I was going through my food stash and decided to review a bunch of Aldi snacks in one fell swoop and with all the hype, and rage, surrounding the new movie, the original Ghostbusters theme got stuck in my head. So, Snackbusters was born! I doubt this will be a recurring thing on the blog, but I gotta get some of this food stuff outta here and this is the best way to go about it. We've got a little bit of everybody here, Specially Selected, G-Free, and Clancy's. Let's get started!
