Ice SCREAM Pumpkin Delights

Little Debbie has branched out into ice cream. Turning classics, like Cosmic Brownies and Oatmeal Creme Pies into scoop-able desserts.

After the Fruity Pebbles ice cream left me feeling is was more of a gimmick than it was edible, I figured these would likely be the same and skipped them. Until I saw that the seasonal sweet, Pumpkin Delights, were getting the ice cream treatment.

Pumpkin Delights look...rather unfortunate. I reviewed them back in 2015 and I stand by my comparison that they looks just like the Koopas from the live action Mario Bros movie.

Twinning.

They may look bizarre, but they are absolutely delicious. If the ice cream is even half as good, I'll consider this a win.

Christmas Gingerbread Soft Cookies - Walmart

Christmas Gingerbread Soft Cookies - Walmart
Normally I hate all of those processed grocery store snack cakes, but Little Debbie completely impressed me with their pumpkin soft cookies. Even though they looked like something out of the Mario Brothers movie, they were way tastier than they had any right to be, and they might be my favorite pumpkin product of 2015.
I loved the pumpkin version so much, that I knew I had to try the winter gingerbread version. Admittedly, I'm a gingerbread snob. I make my own gingerbread from scratch every winter, and like most bakers, I think mine is the best. Still, I wonder if Little Debbie's soft cookies will live up to my snooty standards.

Little Debbie Pumpkin Delights - Walmart

Little Debbie Pumpkin Delights -  Walmart
I'm a cookie/pastry snob. There, I said it! I don't like Tastykake, I don't like Entenmann's, and I don't like Chips Ahoy. Those are three hugely popular items, and all of my friends loved them growing up (my family too), but I never understood it. Even as a little kid I preferred my pastries and cookies to be homemade, but the only exception to my processed pastry pickiness was Little Debbie's Oatmeal Creme Pies.
There was just something about that whipped waxy frosting and that dense flying-saucer-like cookie-pie that always put a smile on my face. With that being said, I had to try their pumpkin version. Plus, they look like little Jack-O'-lanterns!
