Snackbusters: Stuff I really liked, but never got around to writing up

Snackbusters: Stuff I really liked, but never got around to writing up

Long story short, I went to the beach for the day and got food poisoning, or I just ate something that just didn't agree with me. Either way, I don't have it in me to eat anything (and even if I did I might not be able to keep it down.) I didn't want to mess up my posting streak, so here we are!

My normal posting process is, I buy stuff, I set aside time to photograph it, I edit the photos, and write down my thoughts, and then turn I turn that into a full post. Usually I eat the item as I write the full post to keep everything fresh, both food-wise and thought-wise.

These two items never got to the full post stage...because I ate them all. Oops. Both items are definitely things I would repurchase, so I wanted to give them a shout-out regardless, and use the photos I took, so, here we are!

Skillet Banana Caramel Ice Cream - Walmart

Creamy, sweet, banana ice cream with a swirl of salty caramel. It tastes exactly as promised, with real banana flavor. It's delicious and I want to eat the whole pint. I would definitely buy it again.

Old Bay Goldfish - Gift

I was never much of a Goldfish person, (I always felt they were bland toddler-food.) But these are addicting. They're just normal Goldfish with a healthy amount of Old Bay Seasoning. But, since they're well seasoned, they finally have the little kick they needed to get me interested. Sadly they're limited edition, but I highly recommend adding Old Bay to standard Gold Fish from now on. It would probably be great on Cheez-Its and other snacks too!

Have you tried either of these? Or have you ever had food poisoning? If so, what tips do you have? Because so far all I was able to eat and keep down was some water and plain white bread. The beach was a lot of fun, but this aftermath certainly is not.
