You know what? I don't think I've ever reviewed a Wise product before.

It's not because I didn't have access to their goods, after all, they're pretty much everywhere, I just haven't seen anything new or interesting from them. To the best of my knowledge they've shied away from the limited edition flavors-of-the-week game that other brands, like Herr's, Pringles, and Lay's, have readily embraced. (Unless I've been living under a rock or something.) Since they were only offering generic flavors, there was nothing for me to write about. Until now...

Bacon Cheeseburger Queso - Qdoba Restaurant Review

I have risen from the candy-wrapper-ashes! What a week.  

In short-sale-home-buying-hell news, (which I'm sure you're all sick of, and believe me, I am too) I had 5 different inspections this week and only 1 went well/passed. So, that was really awesome. (She said, sarcastically.) I'm waiting to get all the estimates back before I renegotiate, so I'm in for another month's worth of all this legal-goodness before I can say with confidence that I'll be moving in to a new place. BLAH.

In other, cheesier, news someone from Qdoba contacted me asking if I knew about their new queso of the month menu, and since I'd never eaten at their restaurant before, they sent me a $30 giftcard to try them out. (And an awesome cheese hat.) Last weekend my little family spent hours shopping for a new (used) car, so we were cold, cranky, and I really didn't feel up to making dinner, so I took Qdoba up on their offer.

Sorry Cheeseburger Enthusiasts, These Oreos Aren't Real

Apparently this image has been freaking people out on the internet, but rest assured, there are no cheeseburger Oreos headed to stores near you.

This image was actually created by illustrator Beck McCoy to be used in Wreckless Eating's "Will it Cookie?" series, where they created crazy cookie concoctions and tested them to see if they could actually work. So far they've tried fried chicken, ramen, buffalo wing, and of course, bacon. (There are a few others on their channel, these are just my favorites, so be sure to check those out.)

So what do you think? Will it cookie? (Which is a verb now.)

The Double Cheeseburger Pizza is back! (Now with +1 Bacon)

Oh man! It's back! I have been missing this pizza! I reviewed it last year, and was one of the few food bloggers to really enjoy it, so I've very happy (and slightly surprised) to see it return. (Although we all knew if it was coming back it was totally going to have bacon. We all saw bacon coming a mile away.)

I missed this pizza so much, that I even made my own recipe, but now I won't have to! I'll definitely be ordering this later this week.

Are any of you excited that it's back? Or am I the only one?

Some of you might have seen Papa John's new cheeseburger pizza advertized a few days before the Superbowl. (I don't know if all Papa John's locations are advertizing it the same way, but our flyer says "It's the one with pickles!") That's right, it's pizza with pickles that is supposed to taste like a cheeseburger.
